These two models i am familiar with. Both these guys cam with the Betrayal at Calth box a few years back and i already had painted up the regular captain for the Road to Guilliman painting series.

Primaris Librarian: The road to Guilliman painting challenge

Update number 8 had me painting a primaris librarian model. There was two things that had me worried a bit about painting this guy, the robe and making him look like he is using his psychic powers.

Update number seven for the "road to guilliman" painting challenge finally has me painting something that's not just primaris sized! This contemptor dreadnougt has been in my collection for a while now and its from the betrayal at calth box set released a few years ago and i thought its finally a good time to get around to painting it.

Update number six had me back painting a primaris model but not just any model but the primaris captain!

This is the second hq choice in the challenge so far and i was not looking forward to painting the power sword! In my mind the power sword is has to glowing with power, a visual thing of beauty to look at. That sounds awesome until it comes down to me painting it!

30k Marines: The road to Guilliman painting challenge

The fifth update for the "Road to Guilliman" was to paint 5 30k tactical marines from the Betrayal at Calth box set.

After weeks of painting primaris marines i thought going back to paint tactical sized marines was going to be easy.....

Since i finished my Skaven blood bowl team i wanted to keep the momentum going with my Blood Bowl teams so up next was the Ork team that i got with the BB starter box. I have said before that these Ork models are some of my favourite and i'm looking forward to painting them.

30K Calth legion marines #1

It has been a while since i last posted a here. Shame on me..............

Yes it has been a while since i last posted but if you have been following my youtube channel you would have  known that (cheap plug :-) ). But the newest project i am working on is the Betrayal at Calth 30K set. I got this as a Christmas present and i only got around to getting a start on it now. And i really wanted to start doing some 40K stuff on my channel and this is such a great box to start with. I am most looking forward to painting the dreadnought. So the first video update is up now and on only really got a small start on the tactical marines. But its the tactical marines i want to get done first because they are a good chunk of the box and i can get painting power Armour nailed down. 

Maybe i will start on the terminators after these because THEY LOOK AMAZING! Close combat equipment all the way!

How to magnetize Contemptor Dreadnought

Well how are ya's now?

Magnetizing models is something i haven't really tried too much. The thoughts of drilling holes into expensive model and of course me making a mess of it puts the fear level kinda high. But i wanted to make the most of the dreadnought from the Betrayal At Calth box. Its right arm has two weapon choices to choose from so there was no other better time to start magnetizing then now. I magnetized both sides because it will make it much easier to paint that way
