Blood of the Phoenix
The latest news to
come from the Warhammer community site has given us a full view of the new
blood of phoenix battle box and a pre order date of the 12th of
October which is this Saturday.
The box looks like it
has roughly 26 models but 12 of them are new plastic kits for the incubi and
the howling banshees. Also, there are 2 unique characters in the set, one is
Jain Zar and the other is Drazhar.
The rest of the box is
made up of a 40-page campaign book that includes the lore, units of scourges,
hellions and not 1 but 3 vehicles! So not only does it have some amazing
looking models, it looks like it has a bit of everything in it.
The last thing they
show is the book Psychic awakening: Phoenix arising. The 80 page book is almost
like a codex expansion because it has updated datasheets, updated lore, 3
echoes of war missions and rules for 2 theatres of war.
If you want to see
more of the boxsee the unboxing at the Warhammer
community website.
Lords of the Ossiarch Bonereapers Revealed
A couple of weeks ago
we were shown some more of the models from yet to be release Ossiarch Bonereapers army. This is a death army that’s straight from
the bizarre mind of nagash but we have now been shown 2 more models.
Liege-Kavalos and Patru Zandtos are to be
released as a dual kit, with Liege-Kavalos a field general that boost units in
close combat and Patru Znadtos, the former assassin, is a savage killer.
Both of these models look brutal as does
the whole Ossiarch Bonereapers army. Games workshop have out done themselves in
taking skeleton models to the next level. These guys look like a painters dream
and they look amazing.
That it for today’s Warhammer news.
Its good to know that the Blood of the phoenix box is available for pre order
this week and down the line we are not just getting a new army but an amazing
skeleton-based army
