Themed Skaven army lists: Spitclaws hired assassins

For this weeks 1000pts themed army list i wanted to make a list that included Spiteclaws swarm. I was really surprised to see the unit in the new battletome and spiteclaw himself is a hero choice that automaticly comes with the four other members of the swarm. With Spiteclaw and his swarm as the leader choice i thought about how different clans sell their services and who better than Clan Eshin!

Carrion Empire Lore Part 2: Then came Nagash...

So in part 1 we looked at the rise of Metallurgica and how they have become a powerhouse in the realm of metal but with so much success and power surly it can attract bigger enemies?

Metallurgica's rise was during the age of chaos. All across the mortal realms chaos demons were flooding out of realm gates and nations fled towards Azyr. Even Sigmar himself was forced to retreat to Realm of heavens and shut the gates of Azyr. 

Themed Skaven army lists: Clan Eshin

So i was going through the new Skaven army battletome and was looking at the pitched battle profiles (points). Now im not fully update date on what the strongest to take for the Skaven so i thought about making some army lists that have a theme or a story to them. They probably wont the most competitive army lists but that's not what these lists are for. Most of these lists will be 1000 points and will have more of a creative feel than a competitive feel.

This weeks army list based on Clan Eshin. Whats the problem with creating a Clan Eshin list?
They only have 3 units! Deathmaster, Gutter runners and Night runners. Thats it! If you wanted a 100% pure Eshin list then a Deathmaster, 60 Gutter runners and 40 Night runners. Sounds a bit boring from a creative perspective dosnt it?

Carrion Empire Lore Part 1: Metallurgica

The carrion empire has given us a few things, two new hero models, a good box fox for beginners, Incredible value for money and an interesting background story to tie it all together. So whats the story with carrion empire? Whats the reason why the Skaven and the flesh eater courts are fighting each other?

The box gives us a 40 page book with the story of carrion empire, model pictures, warscrolls and battle plan. The first 14 pages are all about the lore and it begins in the age of myth.

I won over 200 Skaven models

Ok this is crazy. Fellow hobbyist Nerdopolis Prime was having a competition over on his YouTube channel (make sure to check it out). He had hit 1000 subscribers and to celebrate he was giving away his Skaven army. With the help from IDIC Beer i was the lucky winner and oh boy did he sent an Skaven army!

How much money do you save with Carrion Empire?

Carrion empire is finally available for pre order. The new starter set is packed with 33 models, rule book and 8 warscrolls. As a Skaven collector im over the moon to see the Skaven as part of a starter set and im a big fan of the Flesh eater court models also. So with the box coming in at €125 how much are you saving?

Rules preview from the new Skaven battletome

Over on the warhammer community site they gave us a preview of some of the new rules from the upcoming Skaven battetome. the new rules range from allegiance abilities to new spells. They also gave us some new artwork from the book which is absolutely gorgeous! It gets you well pumped for the new book!

More news is coming out today about the new Carrion Empire box and id expect more is going to come out up until its pre order date of 9/02/19. So today we got a sneak preview of some of the rules for the Warlock Bombardiers and the Abhorrant Archregent.

New Skaven battletome announced and release date!!

Well well well what a day it has been today. Got myself all excited about seeing some new rats thinking they were part of the next skaven release but they were for necromunda. So i go about my day nothing thinking anymore about it. 

Lately im starting to check warhammer community way more often. Its incredible to think that a Games Workshop website is reliable for news and rumors. So i give it late evening check not expecting much because it was the Horus Heresy weekend. 

OMG new Skaven models....Oh wait its not :-(

Let me set the scene, i had just got back from a family party, had a few drinks, not drunk but have that nice tipsy feeling. Head straight to be bed and start the usually routine of settling down for the night by checking my social media pages. So im scrolling and scrolling through Facebook and not seeing a lot happening, then suddenly this pops up 

GW Open day gave us new Skaven and more!!

Games Workshop have just had their open day and they have showed us some amazing models that are going to be released in 2019.

No information was given about this bad boy but from looking at his knee it looks like he is on the side of chaos. I think he looks like a chaos Chaplin of maybe like a savior that the cultist worship.
